Chamomile - ORGANIC

CHAMOMILE (Organic): Matricaria Chamomilla - Known as “Water of Youth”, Chamomile has been used for anxiety, and panic attacks for generations, but has other benefits such as a strong anti-inflammatory effect on the skin as well.

Native Americans utilized Chamomile blended into medical pastes with other ingredients that were employed on burn injuries, it was also spread around the neck area releasing tension headaches, and migraines in some cases.

*Pregnant, or breast feeding women should avoid smoking, or drinking Chamomile*

Chamomile is not native to North America, but it was introduced to the continent by European settlers. Therefore, it was not traditionally used by Native American tribes prior to European contact. Native American cultures had their own rich traditions of herbal medicine, utilizing plants that were indigenous to their regions. Chamomile, being a European herb, was not part of these traditional practices.

Chamomile has a long history of medicinal use in European and Mediterranean herbal traditions, where it was valued for its calming and digestive properties. It became more widely known and used in North America after European settlement.
