"Pedhitsi-wahpash". Medicine Crow led at least ten
successful war-parties where ho counted many coups.
This chief belonged to the Newly Made Lodge Clan and
the Lumpwood Society, possessing the medicine of the
hawk. His visions foretold the passing of the buffalo and
the coming of the white man.
